Not to merely trod roads of the past does the soul manifest over and over. In each life it seeks to uncover its own infinity of relations with the Divine. What Hinduism gets absolutely right is this personal infinite equation with the Divine, the mullah/padre will not get it.

We do not discuss this enough: the culture, not just of quiescence but compulsory guild-formation, compulsory networking & obligatory mutual protection. Solidarity is a wonderful thing--but not in unconditional & uncritical way that only shores up power at expense of vulnerable
The simple fact is you do not ascend star rank status with accompanying money, berth & perks by being willing to be principled & breaking out of protection rackets.

Not the other way? Hijab not only otherises those not wearing it but also signals "modesty". The inherent signalling is that girls or women not wearing Hijab are immodest. Poisoning young minds with such filth is a thing no school should ever do.
