Supreme Lord, Eternal Truth, Let us obey Thee alone and live according to Truth. ~ The Mother.

Sriram @ravsriram ·20h If there's one author i have to recommend as #mustread I'd pick Sri Aurobindo. His train of thought at times is difficult to latch onto, once you get used to it, the thrill in reading even a short essay leaves a lasting memory. The flamboyance and dash in all his writing may look performative in the beginning, before you realise the writing is almost a meditation. Almost like a raga alapana, effortlessly constructing layers with richest vocabulary yet with immense care

Eight billion human beings on our planet and no one has any clue to the environmental threats and other disasters looming large. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, however, assure of a sublime destiny for the mankind and SAVITRI and The Life Divine are testaments incarnateword.in/cwsa
From self-management to aesthetic enjoyment, the writings of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are full of diverse utilitarian aspects. But the overall thrust on evolution and descent of the supramental are their unique and most profound contribution. Following them is the fruitful task
Sri Aurobindo has written extensively, and in the best of English language, which has rendered all previous philosophies and religions redundant. Recognising this basic fact is necessary for all those who waste their time and life pursuing futile avenues. incarnateword.in/cwsa
Countless forms of human activity and creativity take place all the time. From the clamour of stock markets to cut throat competition within the entertainment industry, the killer instinct drives the show. We must be thankful that Sri Aurobindo's philosophy exists amid all these.
Time and again, I have expressed my reservations against literal interpretation of many topics Sri Aurobindo wrote about, so many decades back. His comments in conversations too should be treated correspondingly. Many of his aphorisms also can't just be taken at the face value.
The name Sri Aurobindo has hidden within it the evolutionary power of resolving all conflicts and discords and finding the right trajectory. The real purpose behind outward events may not be evident but The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are very much in charge through twists and turns.
The function of philosophy is to explain how life goes on. As it's known to no one, books keep growing. Anil Seth, in his book, Being You, aptly says everything we perceive, from objects to emotions our perception of the world, ourselves included, is a “controlled hallucination.”
It would be unfair to evaluate Dayananda on the basis of the present state of Arya Samaj, plus he is criticised for his outspokenness and activism on many counts, but it shouldn't be forgotten what he did, single-handedly, for restoring the Veda as the original fount of knowledge.
