The fundamental divergence between the inclusive Hindu (or similar polytheistic systems) and the exclusionary systems of Monotheistic religions is that evil is not absolute in Hinduism. Evil is relative and arises due to an imbalance of principles, just like disease in Āyurveda.
The sacred is the opposite of evil. In Hinduism, this means the sacred is Pūrna (complete, harmonious: please read the essay in my pinned tweet) where as the evil/profane is incomplete and disharmonious.
This is very different in Zoroastrianism or in Monotheistic religions.
Once you postulate that evil can stand by itself (with the root being Satan etc), you necessarily have to devise a system of exclusion for that evil. From the perspective of Hinduism, that is a hollow and incorrect understanding of the sacred. Sacred can only be Pūrna (Infinite).
For ancient languages, it is different. Until recently, AIT proponents kept a charade that the invading Aryans were pastoralists who displaced an agricultural civilization. This is nonsense, never happened anywhere. So now they are trying to make claims on agricultural centers.

The natural theory that fits to the data would be the Saraswati Sindhu agricultural civilization as the origin of the Aryan tribes. But this is being countered from Harvard by Increasingly convoluted theories. They are pushing the date of IE languages in India to very late dates.
Genetics is important. India needs to establish the Indian origin of the various crops (especially rice and millets), agricultural pests like mice, draught animals used in agriculture, and of course the farmers themselves. The current paper goes a long way in establishing that.
What the Harvard gang is doing, by “inputs” from linguists as they say in the paper, is to dig themselves into a deeper and tighter hole.. Arguing that Sanskrit has very late entry into India. This theory will collapse from the evidence in astronomy.
