"Who was more impactful?" I am not into such comparisons (which outside a narrowly scholarly context, are only harmful). Probably the Brahmos were more influential among Gandhians & ultimately all anglicised intellectuals, the Aryas among Hindu Nationalists.
During their nationalist phases, both Vivekananda & Aurobindo had left Brahmo Samaj.
And Tagore was against nationalism. Thus he is favourite of Communists. He even wrote a novel Ghare Baire, maligning Hindu nationalist movement & vilifying nationalist leaders.
Will be in discussion with and Anupama Rao on the topic of ‘New Writing on the Thought of BR Ambedkar’.
Join us on 25 March at 11:00amEST/8:30pmIST.

Only thing about blocks is that eventually an echo chamber/bubble gets created, in which you get to hear only what you like and reinforces your beliefs. The other side, however obnoxious (or sensible sometimes) stays filtered out. But it does help to keep out filth largely!
Psychedelics, Society, and Reality
Further disclosure: I teach at CIIS, which the hosts (despite one of them getting their BA there, & the other being invited to speak & sit on a panel with ) say they are "suspicious" of. What are they suspicious of? I address this elsewhere

Art as a Dedicated Expression of the Divine
Do facts matter in a context where facts are presented only partly?
Do facts matter where interests are not separated while presenting them?
Do facts matter where those who know the facts are not trusted?
Do facts matter where the bulk of the people are conceptually illiterate?

Hmmm, Sri Aurobindo says that God is all powerful because of the Divine power to 'self-limit'. He also says that Evil exists because it is necessary to lead to a 'greater good'.
Philosophy has always been a lens for looking at the root of things but the 20th century produced some outstanding streams like Phenomenology, Structuralism, Semiology, Deconstuction, and Hermeneutics apart from Critical Theory. Sri Aurobindo, too, created his Integral non-dualism.
In addition to a robust philosophy, Sri Aurobindo stressed on the practice of yoga with the basic principles of aspiration, rejection, and surrender. He also brought in the primacy of The Mother. Such a course without any recourse to fixed rituals or physical methods is a blessing.
The Mother & Sri Aurobindo lay emphasis on work as a medium of yoga. Sri Aurobindo, however, was, especially, interested in poetry as an adventure of consciousness. The theme of SAVITRI being conquering death, Sri Aurobindo foregrounds this Vedic manifesto in the modern milieu.
Notwithstanding his lofty destination of yoga, Sri Aurobindo demonstrated an eye for details and addressed the nuts and bolts of how to achieve them. The social and political field is the first encounter for which he charted out an elaborate itinerary culminating in a World Union.
By announcing that all life is yoga, Sri Aurobindo underscored the role of education and devised a five-pronged integral education. He also highlighted swabhava and swadharma aspects of the individual so that his uniqueness and eminence are not sacrificed at the altar of society.
Not only his writings are full of long words and sentences but also the content always hovers in the higher regions of thought. Vastness of consciousness is one of Sri Aurobindo's pet themes in consonance with the Vedic concept of Varuna. SAVITRI too is modeled on Miltonian mould.
