A more equal scenario is rather the solution. Some in the audience actually want to make their presence felt and there should be some slot to allow them to vent their concern. Maybe this happens before the session so that the speakers can weave their response into their speeches.
It's interesting that Sri Aurobindo had to write on the body-related questions in detail in the last two years of his life. Modern professions shift emphasis from the body; so also too much of intellectual pursuit. But The Mother, too, was emphatic upon work and physical exercise.
The Mother had come from France to meet Sri Aurobindo in Puducherry on March 29, 1914. A minor but momentous event. Some of their direct disciples were great scholars but very few people know about them. Their dedication in establishing Ashram on a firm foundation is commendable.
If one really revers Sri Aurobindo he can't accommodate anyone else within that sphere. Further he will address him as Sri Aurobindo only and not in any other manner. Since The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are the Supreme Divine, describing them as guru or avatar amounts to distortion.
