When you compare acts, you don't just compare the qualitative nature of the act but also the context, the proportion, the style and the likely consequences. Justice is not blandly equating things but finding the nuances in the interests of the underlying morality.
If foreign policy has no morality, why should individuals? If nations act in their own interests and not principles, why not ordinary citizens? Why force patriotism as a moral on individuals while sparing nations from moral scrutiny?

Yes, I am amazed that people seem to think they can see politics from a Supermind, or even Overmind, level. Below that, nothing can really be known of the complexities and how they will inter-manifest. It's guess-work, though some are more prescient than others.
It's clear now that the 150th birth anniversary year celebration of Sri Aurobindo has been sabotaged, successfully. In addition, a deliberate attempt has been made to queer the pitch through Auroville controversy. No Hindutva handle has an iota of excitement about #SriAurobindo.
Those tweeting on national and international affairs are likely to assume possessing superior understanding of the world but human cognition is limited and no one is privileged to access the full ontological picture. Thus, each one is in error irrespective of macro or micro level.
