Even if we see d Future Poetry as an incomplete manifesto of his poetic theory there r various issues raised in it, aside frm his effort to explain mantra, like wat shd be the form of future drama n other forms of art, rasadvani, a history of English poetry etc.
Myth
1. Those who do not live in Santiniketan do not know much about Tagore and Santiniketan
2. Those who do not live in Auroville do not know Sri Aurobindo n the Mother and what is happening in #Auroville.
Reality
Many people from outside know better than the dwellers.
Bengalis & B. intellectuals in particular have long become a deracinated lot. Mostly uncomfortable discussing SV, Aurobindo & Thakur. Not willing to acknowledge Hindu character of B. Renaissance. Decades of left-front rule may have done the damage.
The ignorant, the unread & the unlearned trying to dismiss a statement by the read & the learned with which he feels cognitive dissonance because of his prejudice. Thus, the ignorant remains ignorant & becomes increasingly more stupid.

This is true with lots of exceptions. In India you have produced many great enlightened sages who were also highly learned. Sri Aurobindo, as a contemporary example. You need to have a real wisdom to discern the authentic from the inauthentic, which wisdom you seem to lack.

It's quite embarrassing that those lamenting about Sri Aurobindo not being taught in the schools have themselves not read his books. Spirituality aspect is not verifiable and hence can't pass academic scrutiny. The revolution is redundant and evolution is speculative philosophy.

The Devotees spread across the country and outside collectively constitute the true legacy. No fixed method or particular location is important. Worshipping The Mother & Sri Aurobindo as the Supreme Divine without harbouring doubts, questions, or comparisons forms the sunlit path
