A truly incredible aerial view shot of the "City of Dawn", Auroville in Puducherry!
System always force you to be agree on whatever they want...if you say no, they start spreading fake news and propoganda.
This Article is also a part of their propoganda...
#auroville The aurovillians were beaten up by goons of the Foundation, children loaded into police vans in the middle of the night for staging peaceful protest. This article says aurovillians stalling the #CrownProject The truth_they wanted consensus_not against project
#EMIT The chaos at #auroville created by a section of the entitled class is a display of the baser instincts of society. In the end truth has a way of coming out. Do they tell the planetary significance of pagan cultures to the kids? Or is it the celebration of those who destroyed pagan cultures. Shri Aurobindo Ashram or Auroville to a common man appears to be too firangi...in my opinion.
The mass scale violence perpetrated by youth instigated by adults in #Auroville will be exposed soon. Influence people to like n share till then n pay them to do so...Sign: http://change.org/saveauroville. It is time for to give effect to the Enquiry Committee Report Justice O. Chinnappa Reddy studied the case in detail and gave his dissenting judgement. Such an erudite verdict should be part of Indian Constitution. Auroville is a decorative extension of Matrimandir; it's a new religion. Govt. has no business in meddling with its inspiration.
Twelve petals are the nucleus of Matrimandir and Auroville is an aspiration for possible physical manifestation of the qualities assigned to them by The Mother. It's simply a receptacle of Grace since The Mother said clearly that she didn't expect anything from the human beings.
Lots of disinformation and misunderstanding on Auroville. Many practices are repulsive to majority of people too. But the basic thing to understand about The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is that they represent the subliminal urge for evolution towards Vedic sublimity of Mitra-Varuna.
Leftists among Sri Aurobindo's followers are vocal over ecological destruction of Auroville. Hindutva brigade similarly pursues its multi pronged hidden agenda to grab and appropriate. Savitri Era Party demands Auroville administration to be handed over to an independent devotee.
There was no Internet and the message of Sri Aurobindo could reach me when I was in the primary school in an Odisha village. Let's hope that Auroville becomes trigger for right dissemination of The Mother's vision from the very Evolutionary fundament to the Supramental firmament.
Right diagnosis is essential for effective remedy and both sides are on the wrong in current conflict of Auroville. Reversing Govt takeover is the first necessity. Removing non-devotees from the administration is the next. Status quo until drastic changes at the top is corollary.
Auroville is not about roads, trees, or renewable energy. It's not about the foreigners living there either. Auroville is synonymous with religion and devotion. For the devotees of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, it has got immense significance and inspiration. Govt must return land.
Two Aeon articles on Big History and Disenchantment provide an honest and elaborate survey of the Western scene during last two centuries and allude to some Indian solution as conclusion. Not referring to Sri Aurobindo and his framework of Vedic Evolution seems to be a conundrum.
Sweeping the human story into a cosmic tale is a thrill but we should be wary about what is overlooked in the grandeur
David Christian first made the case for what he called ‘Big History’ in an article in the Journal of World History in 1991... By producing an overarching story of life, Big History is meant to fill the void that was left by the processes of secularisation that have dismantled the holistic narratives that were provided by traditional religious systems. According to Christian, secularisation has left people feeling fragmented and searching for some sort of grander vision and meaning of life that they can no longer find in religion... Indeed, if we look more closely at Christian’s Origin Story, we find a decidedly formalised and specialised discourse embedded in a great deal of guesswork. This is because, for all that we appear to know about the deep past based on scientific advancements, there is still much that is unknown and much that is likely unknowable
The modern world is disenchanted. God remains dead. But our need for transcendence lives on. How should we fulfil it?
Eight years before Charles Darwin’s On the Origin of Species (1859) and three decades before Friedrich Nietzsche’s Thus Spoke Zarathustra (1883-5) – with its thunderclap pronouncement that ‘God is dead’ – Arnold already heard religion’s retreat... What ‘Dover Beach’ expresses is a cultural narrative of disenchantment. Depending on which historian you think authoritative, disenchantment could begin with the 19th-century industrial revolution, the 18th-century Enlightenment, the 17th-century scientific revolution, the 16th-century Reformation, or even when medieval Scholastic philosophers embraced nominalism, which denied that words had any connection to ultimate reality.
