Spinozan joy can be anxiety provoking
I’ve never seen you write like this before. Must be tough going lately. Joy, Spinozan joy, can be anxiety provoking, can’t it? All that matters are the affects that you get (from a heterogeneous assemblage) and then the affects that you get to impart on other people, who then (hopefully) impart those affects further . . . This is not always positive. And even if it turned out to be positive, it can still make one feel anxious. But that doesn’t mean there’s no Deleuzian joy.
