Observation when studying works of modern day scholars & their commentary on Hindu scriptures

When scholars translate Sanskrit shlokas (including big names like Shree Aurobindo etc) why can’t they just simplify the Sanskrit translation and use simple everyday English. Example is the image attached with this post.

They all use conked circular 18th century English that annoys an average person more than it  helps grasp the concept

That "consensus of experts" has never existed. The first Homeland theory, the OIT (18th cent., no Indians involved), got challenged by Bible-thumping academics favouring Noah/Japeth's Armenia. From ca. 1830 different Steppe theories arose, etc. Betw/ ca. 1850-1980, the AIT /1

2/ reigned supreme in EU/US, but Indian dissent emerged, best-known Sri Aurobindo & Dr. BR Ambedkar. After 1980 the OIT was re-launched by UK & US scholars (archaeo & anthro) & KD Sethna; Anatolia became another Homeland. Today 4 peri-Caucasian Homelands are competing, & OIT.
