Wonderful appointments by the Government of India. The Governor of Tamilnadu is now the Chairman of #Auroville and the Governing Board members also include Lt Governor of Puducherry and ex officio officers of Ministry of Education 
Let's see what can be done to follow what the Mother had wished.
I shall visit Auroville middle of next month and talk to all concerned.

Sri Aurobindo rejected the concept of Maya the world was Lila or divine sport ! This meant it was real and the point of the poem Savitri was the transformation of earth ! This also made space to regard nature Prakriti as a manifestation of the divine #SriAurobindo
Sri Aurobindo himself wrote that he was not very impressed by Hegel ! Regards Evolution he was also influenced by the concept of Prakriti’s evolution for the sake of the liberation of purusa in samkhya philosophy !
Indeed, there is a mutation always happening. Sri Aurobindo mentions a double movement, an evolution and involution. Prakriti proceeds with the portfolio of forces and methods until all the variety of quadrupeds are explored...until the simian arrives with greater agility..

Integral Yoga is not achievable through individual effort or tapasya only. With no fixed method of sadhana or rituals, spirituality is stillborn since Grace is unpredictable. What The Mother & Sri Aurobindo ask for is "faith, sincerity, and surrender" and it amounts to religion.

Comparison with past systems of practice and philosophical formulations poses hindrance for understanding Sri Aurobindo's new breakthrough. Evolutionary intervention of Supramental consciousness is something which has never been conceived in the past. So accepting in toto needed.
Nothing happens before its time and I have often cautioned against offering false assurances on the basis of the words of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo or their direct disciples. Writings are writings but believing in Sri Aurobindo is much more important for the future of humanity.

Many accuse Sri Aurobindo of giving his stamp of approval to Hegel's theory of history. Yet, emergence and evolution have a far more critical role and hence time has a significant part to play. It's futile, therefore, to set any term. All life is Yoga is good to avoid frustration

There's no academic compulsion to be guided or bound by what Sri Aurobindo said since what he communicated at one point may not be valid for ever. Scholars should be free to interrogate him ruthlessly and examine his life speculatively. As a top author, he can't escape scrutiny.
