In Seattle, I am remote from all these issues and am not aware of them. It seems very sad to me. Maybe someone should start an Auroville in the U. S. where freedom of religion is more firmly established. (Sri Aurobindo said "not a religion," but we know how people think. )
Auroville is bogged down in the mire of procedural wrangle. Govt of India itself is the culprit. It must return Matrimandir and Auroville to the devotees of The Mother and Sri Aurobindo in deference to their religious sentiments. Govt takeover was an anomaly and must be reversed.
Govt is aware of its tenuous and untenable position in Auroville. Therefore it created a fake dispute in order to establish the indispensability of its presence in Auroville. Mischievous effort is also on to denude Matrimandir of its essential religious sanctity and secularise it.

To summarise, I ask - how do you reconcile the Choices of the Individual Psychic and the Universal soul? Or, if you say they are the same, how do you reconcile the 12 attributes in Mother's symbol with the Equality and Universality attributes from Sri Aurobindo ?
1. The 12 are actually 8+4 and that might give some clue
