Any shrine or temple or mosque stands for the Divine. Breaking it means one is revolting against the Divine. Far from apology, they are trying dig out the past near Viswanath temple n other places. Instead of violence, it is better to rectify the leftist history of lies.
Not many know that destroying Hitler was more important to him than chasing away the British, at that point of time. Because he was/is the greatest humanist in the history of Man. Later in 1949, he advised friendship with America against China, predicting what is happening now!

Sri Aurobindo had to succumb to the pressure for onion in the dining room! But he was specifically against onion for the sadhaka.
Although, The Mother & Sri Aurobindo didn't make a virtue of austere life like Gandhi, the Ashram was not very different due to economic reasons. Their advice on conquering money is well known; but the practical aspect of it continues to be tainted with compromises and turpitude.
There is no denying that it's one thing to talk of high principles of education enunciated by The Mother & Sri Aurobindo and another when it comes to actually teaching in a classroom situation. Dynamics of human psychology having its full play is not an easy territory to handle.
Just read an article by a former FBI hand on identifying dishonest persons. Anyone mentioning the word Dharma should also be added to the list since no one can practice it. But like "Romance is widely read, commercially successful, and the perfect escapist genre" Dharma too sells
My experience in life sans any professional expertise may not have universal relevance but by being part of the universal scenario, it certainly has elements that are important for deciphering collective patterns and projections. The individual, thus, is the fulcrum of evolution.
Oppose BJP but don't throw your weight behind the opposition to BJP. That will push India to old chicanery in the name of liberalism and plurality. India needs Sri Aurobindo's vision and Savitri Era Party is engaged in its dissemination. There's no other viable third alternative.
From November 24, 1926 when he attained his Siddhi to December 5, 1950 when he breathed his last, Sri Aurobindo was confined to single room. He was deeply concerned about the menace of Hitler and lent his force to fight him. Churchill and the British became his ally on this front
From Modi56 to Modi3x0 has been a long journey and Management must take the blame for this decline. Once again it has been proved that there are powers beyond human prudence and it's necessary to remain attuned to them. Siddhi Day of Sri Aurobindo on November 24 is a reminder.
Sri Aurobindo never left politics and all his books are replete with political concerns. His #FiveDreams broadcast on August 14, 1947 has wide ranging political ramifications. Savitri Era Party is an attempt for fulfilment of those dreams. No one should question my right to do so
Apology for demolition of the Babri Masjid will be the most magnanimous act for Hindutva. Dissolving Hindutva doctrine itself will be the best course for the future. Then only, people can appreciate the greatness of Sri Aurobindo and his relevance for the emancipation of mankind.
I don't think anyone has thought about the Aryan race more systematically than Sri Aurobindo and he doesn't foresee any extinction. His Vedic Evolutionary adventure of Consciousness is an invitation for everyone and not merely the Indians. Responding to his call is a duty of all.
You may be right. But the farmers too misused many rights and were rewarded. No risk, no reward.
Basic things need to be repeated for new readers. The Secret of the Veda is the most important work of Sri Aurobindo in which he has delegitimised religious rituals and mythological fiction. By amending Sayana, Shankara, and Chaitanya, he has provided the most potent formulation.
Despite its might, Hindutva couldn't come to power on its own signifying serious lacuna. It's incumbent upon its intellectuals therefore to bring out the infirmities for educating the public. Let the Siddhi Day of Sri Aurobindo on November 24 be an eye opener for jettisoning them
Sri Aurobindo removes the middlemen and facilitates direct relationship with the Divine. His emphasis on inner growth instead of external paraphernalia is a tremendous help in modern atmosphere. No prescribed method or book makes Integral Yoga the most acceptable religious path.
P. Chidambaram's article in The Sunday Express today surveys the social aspects and plurality but doesn't convey any higher goals for the individual or the humanity. Sri Aurobindo, on the contrary, aims at Vedic adventure of Consciousness and his Siddhi Day falls on November 24.
Rarely quoted but the ideas of Sri Aurobindo have percolated into the thoughts of many people with modern outlook. His interpretation of ancient Indian wisdom in a universalist framework and in consonance with science has become the bedrock of a dominant worldview. A big victory.

Savitri Era of those who adore,
Om Sri Aurobindo & The Mother.
Western philosophy suffers from the feudal approach and India can never claim any respectable place within it. Patronising attitude towards classical Indian philosophy continues which obfuscates the scene. Philosophy education in colleges of India should begin with Sri Aurobindo.
Sounds apt but who will decide what was his central proposition? His works can be seen as sequential where he continued to explore new frontiers. Nothing is less important for Sri Aurobindo. From tinkering with prosody to crafting Science fiction, all have evolutionary potential.
Everyone quotes Sri Aurobindo as per their own convenience. Nobody brings up his central proposition, his life's work. People not familiar with his works are always left imagining him as a commentator on politics, philosophy, Indian culture, history etc. This must change.
I'm coming around to viewing ruthlessness as the quality I perhaps admire the most. Ruthless in a non-violent manner, of course. Ruthlessly focused, disciplined and combative, for meeting well-defined objectives. We need this in India.
The most interesting trend in the world today is: pick up any '-ism', any institution, and study its current practices; nothing works like it is supposed to work. Nothing makes any sense. And this sense of 'nothing works' is accelerating towards 'we need something else'.
On the ongoing #SriAurobindo course, Shri Devdip Ganguli is facilitating a 12-lecture module on Sri Aurobindo's social and political philosophy, based on the book- The Human Cycle: The Ideal of Human Unity, War and Self-Determination.
Listen to "The Risks and Difficulties of Eliminating Lower Drives Through Purposeful Indulgence, Part 1" by Sri Aurobindo Studies
Part one (on Evolution) of #wip has comparison of #Teilhard, #SriAurobindo, Whitehead, & Erich Jantsch. Parts 2 to 4 are Psychology, Emanation, & Synthesis. Not covering Darwinian evolution here; that's for another planned work: The Cosmic History of the Earth.

No it's not about communication or lack thereof . It's their habit of bulldozing their way to impose their governance on the public without dialogue. This time, the only was ,that they took panga on an issue involving Sikhs, without knowing the inherent strength of sikh community
“Better to Have Gone” by might be the best book I’ve read all year. It’s haunting, nuanced, empathetic, straight up informative and beautifully written.
