Raytas are abhorrent creatures. On one hand they have visceral hatred for muslims, and only reason they join RW is because they are afraid that Islam would end their public degeneracy (not private, as Islam encourages degeneracy as long as you could keep it under wraps)

The best way to start reading Sri Aurobindo is to give 20 minutes to his Letters on Yoga twice or thrice a week. After that things become easier. Life Divine is a strict No for the beginners. It may start at least after 6 months.   There may be exceptions. But they r rare.

Exactly! I started with a Bengali translation of Bases of Yoga  by Nolini Kanta Gupta. Bought it frm Howrah station. Then much later read the original Bases of Yoga. Then 2 chapters of the Future Poetry to answer questions in MA!

'Bases of Yoga', 'Lights on Yoga', 'More lights on Yoga'. All 3 small selection of his letters. Complete collection may be a bit overwhelming at start. At the same time one needs to SEE Him. 'Evening Talks' & 'Twelve years with Sri Aurobindo' by Nirodbaran. Helps a lot.
