Dharma bandwagon has degenerated into a circus of self-seeking politicians

  Collated by Tusar Nath Mohapatra

Let us know and start analyzing these Western Indologists and their Hindu Leader Certificates

Who organized the 1893 Chicago religion Parliament?

What was the basis of invitations and speaker invites?

A Beef bhakshi Vivekananda was selected on what credentials. Did he know Ved, vedang, Itihaas, Puraan Smritis - to represent Hindus.

Incidentally he was part of a group which included openly toxic Buddhists from Lanka and Burma. The same Buddhists who infiltrated India to launch a Reclaim Gaya/ Remove Hindu movement and Mahabodhi Society.

It's Ok to not continue the debate now as you have not studied both sides. I did over 20 years ago and as a result decolonised myself. Will write a thread about why western linguists and their methodology is wrong when it comes to India.

It doesn't matter what you do as a Hindu. Truth does not need your validation. Tibetan lineage knows worship of Tara far better than Indian tradition and benefit from it. Even our Tantras say that Rishi Vashishta learnt Tara sadhana.

Batao Lahiri Mahasaya ka Kriya yoga parampara konse shashtra se aaya hai, boldo wo bhi nakli the apne man grahan kahani bana di Mahavtar babaji ke bare me

If he you do everything by Shashtra which any Shashtri tota does then you can be considered authenticate by standard of these dull fools who think sanatan begins and ends at shashtras

Sri Aurobindo was right that Indians have lost all thought-power. Our ancestors will cry to see people saying that Shashtra is everything and I do not need to think. What kind of stupidity is this?

Yogananda ko amercia jaana para kynki tm jaise pakhandi pandit yehan baith ke tond fula kr baithe the

Aur kr log gita ke ek shloka se Kriya yoga

Kya mandbudhhi ki sena hai ye log

Yehan ka mandir dhang se samhal nahi rha aur makkeshwar ki baat kr rhe hai ach thoo

The enlightenment story of Ramana Maharshi is also fantastical and without proof.

There are source of knowledge that is beyond shashtras. Divya purusha need not follow the injunction of shashtras.

https://x.com/iamnibhu/status/1968558034868723721?t=_Ogkz88Nlt3WVaw4XyoB3w&s=19

If you think Lahiri Mahasya is a fraud. You might also think Ramana Mahrshi or Vedic Rishis were fraud. Have you heard of Mahavatar Babaji? This is a senseless discussion if you cannot accept simple truth like Shashtras are not exhaustive source of knowledge

https://x.com/iamnibhu/status/1968555754207490066?t=INeACYfbUy80mvwMn40GCg&s=19

Oh I know about it. BGT was a good intellectual but he was still a colonised mind. He was born in peak of colonisation. I would rather study thousands of years of independent scholarship or Sri Aurobindo who was a true Rishi.

https://x.com/iamnibhu/status/1968162515910857090?t=71Omn1LZWjCkJ6nCdkfzZw&s=19

I wish more people should understand this. Most Hindus that are trying to troll the lady are themselves low intellect andhabhaktas. I think we have to get over that shashtras are infalliable and apaurusheya. What does even apaurusheya means?

Of course it is obvious that not everything in the scripture is infallible words of god. Tantra shashtra often like to take dig at Vedas and often there are stories that is obvious that is made up. But these people want to leave budhhi in toilet while reading shashtras

Generally if you ask these trads about Apaurusheya they will say it is emanation of shabda brahman or as you said beyond human origin, but if you read rig veda you will see Rishis talking about mundane things like cows and horses. You will ask yourself why does knowledge of beyond talk about these things. If you read Sri Aurobindo finally true meaning of Apaurusheya becomes clear.

https://x.com/iamnibhu/status/1968667845480284443?t=KNtG8RBKxkMMQrAW4kZPyA&s=19

There is lack of sincerity in India in everything. Everything we see - corruption, ineptitude at work, low quality output, food adulteration, fraud, low trust culture, bureaucracy, trash everywhere, poor quality of service, meaningless busy work - they can all be traced to one thing - lack of sincerity. Even in spiritual pursuits, sincerity is lacking and people end up clinging to empty rituals and make no progress.

https://x.com/Shiva_Uvacha/status/1968653174098767902?t=6uBTNwYT_Z1OXo7TRZvjSw&s=19

Hypocrisy at every level from individual...to society/ community. This is something i have seen amongst my western friends, they are so truthful at a personal level.

https://x.com/LifeDivine1008/status/1968655405728293031?t=rZ3NvLa-Ud5iWi8cNn8BWQ&s=19

Bro you ruined it with that last piece of Modi servility. Sincerity and Modi? He just had his 75th birthday. While he pushed the senior leaders of his own party into obscurity using the 75 year age-limit as a cut-off he is happily continuing as sole dictator with no successor or plans to step down. And this is just merely scratching the surface of this man's perfidy. Please do not use Mother Sri Aurobindo to edify any politician. They are all cut from the same cloth.

The whole dharma bandwagon has degenerated into a circus of self-seeking politicians. As of now its only utility is to keep at bay the greater evils that threaten to supplant them and are just waiting in the wings to pounce on the country if given the opportunity.

Modi's whole persona is a PR creation. I'm really disheartened by this attempt to misuse Sri Aurobindo & the Mother to glorify self-serving politicians. Just not done.

Sorry this upset you. I feel Modi is an instrument of the Mother. I understand you feel very differently about him. But it's a good point to not mix current gen politicians and the Masters. Point taken.

#NEP2020 reforms will alter the educational landscape of #Bharat. It is aligned with the Integral Education philosophy of #SriAurobindo, born on Aug 15, 1872 in #Kolkata.

As teachers, we have to align with the Vedic wisdom and also embrace Modernity to progress and evolve as suggested by #SriAurobindo. Hence, our #NEP2020 is reliving the Vedas as we see today.

Sri Aurobindo conclusively proves that the talks of sacrifice based on rituals, dogma and sentiment prescribed by the wooden soul of religion are but empty words, wrongly conceived.

Most societies today are hybrids — capitalist in structure, socialist in spirit. The challenge is not to choose one over the other, but to design systems that balance efficiency with empathy, innovation with inclusion. India, with its pluralism and pragmatism, is uniquely positioned to lead this conversation. https://indianexpress.com/article/opinion/columns/shashi-tharoor-rethinking-capitalism-socialism-india-10256264/lite/

One can think of it as temple property

Collated by Tusar Nath Mohapatra

2 days ago — Auroville residents clash over IIT-M sustainability campus plan on Annapurna Farm, highlighting community voices vs. city-building works.
16 hours ago — Former Auroville chairman praises progress on Crown Road and Matrimandir lake, emphasizes nation-building responsibility to youth.

Giving Auroville land for purposes other than Auroville is NOT acceptable without the approval of vast majority of residents. These lands were likely donated to Auroville (or purchased using donations) by well-wishers of Auroville like us and it's not OK for the foundation to give it away. It's not their personal property.

Giving bureaucracy power over Auroville is dangerous. Even if Ms. Jayanti Ravi was doing good work until now, she is a bureacrat at end of the day and they are employees of the govt who have to obey govt dictats.

Though I had expressed it strongly, that's my humble opinion. I generally distrust bureaucrats and Auroville wasn't created by Mother to be administered by bureaucrats. Ms Jayanti Ravi may be doing good work but sooner the control reverts to Aurovillians the better.

https://x.com/Shiva_Uvacha/status/1958586039762919513?t=L4hnQRkuny5msc-MhwiHYA&s=19

A trustee or govt appointed administrator, even if they are of pure heart and intent like @JayantiRavi should not give away the property of Auroville. The property - Annapurna farm was bought with donations by devotees of the Mother and Sri Aurobindo and well-wishers of Auroville for explicit purpose of Auroville. It wasn't given by govt for it to be given away to IITs. If those farms were used (or under utilised) by some coterie within Auroville, I hope @JayantiRavi ji fixes its usage and not give it away. At best it can be exchanged for adjacent land of equal value and *not*given away. That is not justifiable in my humble opinion.

One can think of it as temple property. The trustees or the govt appointees cannot give it away for any reason. Similarly their job here is to ensure that it is utilised properly for Auroville and not give it away to IITs.

https://x.com/Shiva_Uvacha/status/1958756077794918615?t=Ber27MRe4RXPax-KtEFAvw&s=19

Can the fact that a small coterie did not utilise the farm properly create a moral or ethical justification to give away Auroville land? It is not government property for govt to take away. It was property bought with donations of well-wishers of Auroville and devotees of Mother and Sri Aurobindo. They need to be treated on par with temple properties, meaning noone can give it away and neither should govt claim it.

As a devotee of thr Mother and a wellwisher and donor of Auroville, this is my sincere and original opinion. I have not listened to any propaganda by anyone on this matter.

If land near to Auroville city is desired, land swap arrangements can and should be worked out. Then the purpose of Auroville would be served better.

With immense respect to @JayantiRavi, and the great work she has done, I want to reiterate that there is no logical, moral or ethical or Spiritual justification for donating Auroville land to IIT or any other purpose. I say *spiritual* justification because no human mind made purpose, including that of IITs is loftier than the purpose of Auroville, which was a creation of Spiritual consciousness.

Are we to believe that IIT has a higher divine purpose than Auroville? Then let entire Auroville be donated to IIT.

To my intuition this seems an act against the Will of the Mother and not justifiable.

https://x.com/Shiva_Uvacha/status/1958772994572247138?t=y6AkXb1PvKsM-Ku-XWuHjw&s=19

I am all for ridding Auroville and the Annapurna farm from the clutches of some small coterie of vested interests. But citing that as a reason to donate Auroville land is not justifiable. It would be like burning down the house to get rid of rat problem. @JayantiRavi

All property of Auroville belongs to the Divine. Giving it away for any purpose other than Divine work it was intended for is to work against the Will of the Divine. Our job in any capacity small or big is to do our best to ensure that it is used in a better way for Auroville. Auroville land was bought with donations of devotees and well-wishers who donated specifically for the Mother's work (and / or Auroville), not for any IITs.

From a ethical perspectives, it is very similar to how politicians swallow temple property and courts have explicitly prohibited using temple lands for any purpose including building colleges. Not under control of the said temple. The same logic should apply here.

https://x.com/Shiva_Uvacha/status/1958775227510591845?t=fSIADmdZHEG6D8eT-AXhmA&s=19

Dear @JayantiRavi ma'am, my concern is based on the reports that the ownership of the land would be gifted to IIT-M. I am hoping that it is only half-truth and full truth will set our minds at ease.

For example, if the land ownership were to remain with Auroville and the sustainability center is to be (co-)managed by qualified Aurovillians in collaboration with IIT-M researchers, then one would expect that an overwhelming majority well-wishers, volunteers of Auroville, devotees of the Mother and Sri Aurobindo and donors to Auroville would be very supportive. It would be a great milestone on the way of realising Auroville vision.

Unlike other institutions of repute like IITs founded with high intentions but in mental consciousness, Auroville was created with the highest Divine consciousness and Force to serve as a symbolic battleground to birth a new consciousness. So Auroville is bound to face all problems of the world in a symbolic way and will have to find solutions based in a higher consciousness. You have been blessed to be a warrior of light in fighting the good fight so far.

Hence my humble request to not view any Auroville property in a purely utilitarian manner as bureaucrats are wont to do, but view it in conjunction with the pure, high and mighty Spiritual vision and Force behind it. Any experienced sadhak can sense that the spiritual force in Matrimandir is unparalleld in the world. Not even the famous Saktipeeths can be compared to Matrimandir. There is a live cosmic Spiritual Force working on the world through Auroville. Even a failed experiment done in Auroville will have a far reaching impact in human consciousness based thanks to Force behind its creation as a symbolic embryo of new consciousness for the Earth.

What does that mean in practical things? In my humble view, that means Auroville would need to retain ownership of its properties (or exchange them for nearby properties of equal value if that would serve Auroville's purpose better) as no other man made institution will have such highest Spiritual force behind it.

If there is to be a sustainability center, it should be under the aegis of Auroville (with perpetual land ownership residing with Auroville) and run or co-run by competent Auroville volunteers in collaboration with experts from IIT-M, etc., and Auroville Foundation retained as the binding authority on any future decisioning regarding the sustainability center.

It is my sincere submission that Auroville land / assets are not gifted away for other human endeavours however high and expedient they may look from an utilitarian perspective.

Thank you for your time and I hope you get to atleast read this post and continue to be guided by the Mother's light in your decisions.

Auroville seems to take cues from Sri Sri and Jaggi

  Collated by Tusar Nath Mohapatra

But walk through Auroville today, and you’re not likely to hear the silence of the wilderness. You’ll hear the hum of espresso machines, the chatter of curated yoga retreats, and the buzz of electric scooters ferrying spiritual tourists from one Instagrammable café to another. The soul has gone quiet; the spectacle has taken over.

It’s hard not to notice how Auroville today seems to take cues from other spiritual-commercial hybrids like Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s Art of Living ashram or Jaggi Vasudev’s Isha Foundation. These places, though impressive in scale and design, reflect a certain trend—where spirituality is polished, branded, and served as a lifestyle product. Wellness replaces sadhana. Branding overtakes bhakti.

Once a symbol of spiritual wilderness, Auroville now feels like a beautifully packaged contradiction. Boutique shops sell organic soap at international prices. Cafés offer gluten-free croissants with imported almond milk. ‘Sustainable living’ becomes a sellable aesthetic, not a disciplined inner practice.

This was never the dream. Aurobindo and The Mother spoke of transformation—not tourism. They envisioned a collective evolution of consciousness, not a retreat for Western seekers to escape their burnout in climate-controlled mud huts. If they are watching from above, I doubt they’re smiling.

Spirituality, when stripped of austerity, becomes theatre. When wilderness is replaced by manicured trails and commercial intent, the soul of the land retreats quietly. Auroville isn’t dead—but it’s slowly drifting from its essence.

And it’s not just about Auroville. It’s about how every sacred space, once opened to the world, risks becoming a commodity. The question is—can we still create a space where silence is sacred, simplicity is not for sale, and the soul—not the selfie—is the destination?

AuRaville

Dear Shri @narendramodi  , I would like to bring to your attention that when Mrs @JayantiRavi  writes on a visa recommendations of foreigners living in #Auroville “works against the Master plan, gazetted and approved by Govt of India”, she misleads the Govt, because the Master Plan is an obsolete architectural plan of Auroville designed in the 60’s by a French architect (long dead) and approved 40 years ago by a @INCIndia  Govt. She has managed to deny visas to many foreigners using this sentence which sounds like a major crime but is actually nothing. Please give me some time to explain the situation in Auroville @PMOIndia

Sad that Auroorchard was sold! It was an amazing farm, setting a great example for the world. The stewards must move their house with a crane, as the new landowners, who destroyed most of it, threaten them.

Ministry of Education wants to replicate Auroville’s socio-economic model? Their version is a tragedy in three acts! Act 1: Bulldoze 10,000 trees. Act 2: Lose INR 247 crores in shady land swaps. Act 3: Silence the Residents’ Assembly and ignore court rulings. Auroville’s economy under the Ministry or How to Govern by Chaos!

Absolutely not. "Kind of gem" "86 year old" is an arrogant German who has the temirity to claim he built Auroville. Has the audacity to challenge the Mother's master plan and challenge indecently the development. Used every method of obstruction in the leftist handbook to oppose the building of the crown road. And now has his minions apealing to emotion about being old. This old man, a foreigner, should have known better than to break Indian law.

My friend, if our Dharmik leaders a millennium ago could make all of us appreciate value of money we would not have been enslaved by barbarians. Sri Aurobindo said ‘money is energy’. We need to channelise it for good purpose and keep it flowing for higher and higher objective.

“Whether inspired by Nietzsche or others, many esoteric authors since the 19th century (with prominent names such as Sri Aurobindo, Jacques Bergier, or the contemporary academic Jeffrey J. Kripal) have imagined a continuing evolutionary process reaching far into the future by means of which humans will develop higher & more exalted types of consciousness, god-like abilities or superpowers, & superior levels of spiritual understanding.” -Hanegraaff

True religious harmony on a national scale

 Collated by Tusar Nath Mohapatra

Hindu-Muslim Unity & Sri Aurobindo

Dr. Mangesh Nadkarni was one of the most senior and respected members and scholars of Sri Aurobindo and his philosophy.

In a talk delivered to the annual convention of Sri Aurobindo Society held at Pondicherry on 13th August 1994 Dr. Nadkarni analysed the problem of Hindu-Muslim unity in the light of Sri Aurobindo's thought. Here's a gist.

'Sri Aurobindo saw this as a  national but not as a political problem and cautioned us against adopting an overly political or sentimental approach to it. According to him Mother India has given a permanent place in her bosom to the Mohemmedan and therefore the identity of our religious minorities should be safeguarded.

Hinduism should show to the world the way to a true religious harmony on a national scale. This calls for a more dynamic, more world-affirming Hinduism, strong enough to conciliate Islam. Hinduism has to learn to face the challenge of fundamentalism without either pampering for imitating it. This calls for a truly spiritual approach and the true love of a patriot."

All true patriots must seriously ponder over the deep significance of this thought.

It would also be extremely good to read and digest the message Sri Aurobindo sent to a free India on 15th August 1947, also his birthday.

It's available on the net.

Equity, ethics, sustainability, and innovation

 Collated by Tusar Nath Mohapatra

Auroville was built on ideals of collective living, ecology, & spiritual freedom. Today, it’s a battleground over land, power, & silence from the state.

@PoojaPrasanna4 & @priyankathiru investigate how a utopia is being remade. Read the full story: thenewsminute.com/long-form/insi…

Aurovilian Pioneer Frederick, 85 years old, among the first to be admitted as an Aurovilian by the Mother, faces visa denial and must leave India after dedicating over 60 years to Auroville, the Mother’s Dream.

Help us appeal to authorities to let him stay in the country he calls his soul’s home.

Sign the petition: forms.gle/Cvq8TrgRSggveZ…

Frederick came to Pondicherry and the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in 1960 for the first time and for good in 1966. He was among the first to be admitted as an Aurovilian by the Mother and worked closely with her on Auroville matters in its early years. He has continued to live in and give his life to her Dream for over 60 years.

Over those years he has been a friend to many in and around Auroville as well as across India and the world, and he has dedicated himself wholeheartedly to Auroville.

We are deeply dismayed that an 85 year old pioneering resident is now being prevented from completing his life in Auroville after having given everything that he has and is to this unique and special project of the Mother.

We humbly appeal to the relevant authorities to reconsider the denial of visa extension and request to leave India that has been issued to Frederick (Schulze-Buxloh) so that this child of the Mother is allowed to remain in India, which he calls the country of his soul.

Please sign the petition from this link:

forms.gle/Cvq8TrgRSggveZ…

Once the signatures are collected, we will send the petition results to the relevant officials. The names of the signatories will not be disclosed to the public.

Auroville design had a pavilion for India including a pavilion for each state. The construction of India pavilion was started by the Mother in 1971. But since the govt. of India took over Auroville in 1980, just one state pavilion has been established!  @narendramodi @dpradhan

Auroville is within India and has to operate within the framework of the Indian Constitution. The Indian courts have adjudicated. The RA has no constitutional basis. So feel ashamed instead for lolling over acres and acres of land for the few.

https://x.com/AloPal/status/1914742475182493852?t=F3d-CGuCVCrHDoiyYoQKyg&s=19

The RA is not above the law. Auroville is not above the Indian Constitution. The governing board is not below the RA. The RA should refute on fact on what basis is the development being blocked on a plan approved decades ago. The RA keeps which aspect of the Mother's vision when it blocks the plan. Don't come up with apeals to authority you know very well quote against quote is the easiest thing to counter. Grow up. Stop stalling development.

https://x.com/AloPal/status/1914741817477881881?t=0Tnt1SKV7uwARxG8JLadTA&s=19

Kireet Joshi’s (who was deeply involved in drafting and formulating the Auroville Foundation Act of 1988) quote suggests that the Governing Board cannot override the residents’ autonomy in decision-making, including development plans, as long as they adhere to the Charter. The Residents’ Assembly (RA), is meant to represent the people’s voice in Auroville’s organization. The Indian Constitution and the Governing Board hold legal authority, but Joshi’s interpretation of the Act implies that delaying development in the name of collaboration aligns with Auroville’s foundational principles of resident-led governance, not obstruction. If the approved plan from decades ago conflicts with the current residents’ vision or the Charter, the RA’s collaborative process takes precedence over unilateral imposition by the Board.

I would urge all those who are good in english, do read Sri Aurobindo's 'The Renaissance in India and Other Essays on Indian Culture'. He has made a case on the importance of Indian civilization among other things, which is must to understand by anyone interested in this battle.

Please start devoting yourself in serious scholarship. Basics are more important than surface politics. And don't lose optimism at any cost. Trust god. Don't be apologetic about believing in Avatars. We are his servant and he will protect us. Discover and follow your dharma. JSR!

Sri Aurobindo Wanted India to stay united and wanted the Cabinet mission plan to be accepted..Cong leaders did not listen to him..Calamity followed..But Sri Aurobindo stated that Pak will be reunited with India..A break up of Pak is inevitable but will not happen by war..1

A long sustained effort to degrade Pak economically is the Indus water treaty, Recognize Balochistan govt in exile ,recognize Afghan claims on the Durand line,Expel Pak from ICC events....encourage separatist forces there..@narendramodi .Armed action is temporary. 2

Armed action short of triggering a war is fine..but our economy is a weapon to dismantle Pak..don't allow it to be affected..@narendramodi

Attended the Prize Distribution of the Sri Aurobindo Annual History Essay Competition 2024-25, organised by the Foundation for Indian Historical and Cultural Research (FIHCR), led by Historian and Author Shri @vikramsampath.

The competition received over 1,500 entries from 300+ schools across the country. Was truly heartening to see the clarity of thought and civilisational confidence in the essays of our young minds.

In their work, the children highlighted the efforts of Unsung Hero's of Indian Freedom Struggle such as Ahilyabai Holkar, Alluri Sitarama Raju, Bagha Jatin and Rani Gaidinliu among many others.

Appreciate Dr Vikram Sampath and his team for leading such initiatives, such are vital in awakening pride and awareness in our youth.

Sharing some highlights from the event.

Today, decades later, his words still feel relevant.

Across industries—education, health, governance, business—we observe conversations around equity, modern ethics, sustainability, human-centered innovation. This is a much-needed and welcomed turn towards following the “ideal”.

Yet many efforts are still entangled in materialistic frameworks driven by metrics rooted in the very systems they seek to challenge.

Can we imagine a professional world that moves not just toward change, but toward transformation? One, which is “efficient” but also elevated?

Perhaps we need to reorient our inner compass. This is precisely where the 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 (or the 𝐈𝐊𝐒) offer deep, time-tested insights.

And at the @rishihoodCHS, @RishihoodUni, we engage with these questions daily—reimagining leadership, education, and policy from a more sattvic (value-based) foundation.

Let’s talk about it.

The story of 'your' Pioneer, who made the #Auroville Foundation Act possible, and its application.  I humbly request you to rewrite the wrongs of the past @avfoundation @rajbhavan_tn @LGov_Puducherry @PMOIndia

Auroville was meant to transcend nations & politics. Today, its forests are being cleared, its land traded, & its residents silenced.  In Part 2 of our series,

@PoojaPrasanna4 & @priyankathiru uncover how India's most famous utopia is being rewritten.

https://x.com/newslaundry/status/1913027196597191150?t=je_L4k8e8UWeqpk1Nd0JEg&s=19

Utopia is a defeated communist ideal. Auroville is NOT supposed to be Utopia. Auroville is an attempt at unity. But not at the cost of national identity. Most important Auroville is not an afforestation project. Infrastructure is needed. A ring road needed for a township

https://x.com/AloPal/status/1913031231777747037?t=PLtRhSn_7aZ8JCtNEgxvZg&s=19

Auroville’s heart is human unity, and we embrace development—when it’s COLLABORATIVE. Our residents, with decades of sustainable expertise, deserve to be heard, not sidelined. Yet obstacles block this journey, favoring fast development over unity. Let’s honor our pioneers and co-create a future of growth through harmony, not division.

https://x.com/aurovilleunity/status/1914287720576282834?t=dpyEuhnhMSRDqy2cvexX8w&s=19

Don't talk in theory and in abstractions. Are you or are you not blocking development of a plan approved decades ago. The RA has no powers. The Indian Constitution and the Board are the only entities that have the power. You cannot block development and shamelessly delay development in the name of collaboration.

https://x.com/AloPal/status/1914317888967872548?t=dhIXGXj6KMaWxGeRVqatsQ&s=19

Typical leftist play Book. Division comes when people oppose you. You just assume you're right oblivious of the fact that you've actually caused division. Old timer balderdash is the most stupid appeal to authority ever

https://x.com/AloPal/status/1914321465308221672?t=ftz2tSjbxLpiU6wKp5gWnA&s=19

Your definition of collaboration is basically consultation that perpetuates status quo. Delighted you have lost all cases at the Supreme Court. Make all the noise you will. But leftist play Book model of protest being foreigners should have serious consequences on your permit to stay on in India.

https://x.com/AloPal/status/1914318894535508446?t=AF-LAVPUBf2CPHBq9AmZLg&s=19

The trees being cut were planted in a designated area for road building. Whites thought they'd make their retirement homes there with lovely afforested backyards. They stalled implementation of the master plan for decades. Protested like maniacs from left lib play Book. Lost all cases.

https://x.com/AloPal/status/1913030211966501311?t=Yr6s4fUSU8sfmkuNy1SY3A&s=19

The term “Whites” is racist & against Auroville’s vision of unity. Early residents didn’t choose an easy life—they turned a desert into an oasis, planting 3M trees & creating a 1,380-acre forest. This takeover ignores their dedication. They’re more than “foreigners” and deserve respect for their achievements—business visa holders have more economic flexibility than someone on an Auroville Entry Visa. Wake up!

You cannot dictate the vocabulary of a lived experience. You cannot control speech. Instead of behaving holier than thou you can instead introspect.

Whites and colonised Indian cohorts is how I'd describe it best

https://x.com/AloPal/status/1914521315232333851?t=5TuBehy2Vy5SqvAV09Dbgg&s=19

Control over one's speech is important in Politics. A rash speech affects a party's image and acceptabilty. Delhi Sri Aurobindo Ashram is open to all for meditation. One can give it a try.

The Cardinal Climber flower holds spiritual significance in The Mother and Sri Aurobindo's teachings, symbolizing "Love in the physical for the Divine." It represents modesty, tenacity, charm, and faithfulness, reflecting humble yet steadfast devotion. This meaning is specific to their tradition and not widely recognized elsewhere. Other flowers, like the Cardinal Flower, have distinct meanings such as courage and vitality, but they are different plants.

The level of deception by the Auroville Foundation is unimaginable. How can an organization meant to foster unity and truth sink so low?

The removal of a resident's post on Auroville's forum "Auronet" for sharing an article in The Hindu— calling for at least two senior residents on the Governing Board— reveals the daily persecutions Auroville residents endure. This suppression of voices, amidst ongoing tensions over land deals and governance, endangers the community's core values.

Anu omits that the Auroville Foundation has censored residents from posting in "News and Notes" and Auronet, silencing dissident voices. Oh, how noble of them to "protect" Auroville by ensuring no one can speak against their actions—truly the spirit of a utopia! This is the true danger to Auroville. Demand transparency!

https://x.com/aurovilleunity/status/1910241900084293739?t=HepPq2-pu3EFEtlfkhrwuQ&s=19

I can't reply to "No, Auroville is not in danger" tweet of Mr. Ghosal, because he blocked me, years ago, for pointing out that a sentence he ascribed to in a his Twitter post of his, was not actually Sri Aurobindo's.  See my replies to his present tweet after this: #Auroville

https://x.com/trueseek/status/1909816876982845641?t=lkKAGYqNLWcJkavu2hiFrA&s=19

We also got blocked by @GoutamGhosal3 as soon as we stated a few facts—clearly not open to dialogue at all. We tried to communicate politely at first, but he soon got really nasty in his replies, badmouthing residents, then deleting his posts. No accountability. This is the kind of attitude that shows people like him don’t deserve to be on the Governing Board of the Auroville Foundation.

It now finds itself entangled in conflict and unrest.

Wrong mindsets are dangerous. Excessive expectations are even more dangerous.

Before anything else, each person must engage in an inner search to understand exactly why they are coming to Auroville.

The idea of a community expanding into a city is full of challenges and (1) demands hard and consistent work. Auroville was never meant to be just for 3,500 people. It was never meant to be a small community in a green area, behind fences and high borders, separated from the rest of the world, without laws, and simply offering a fun and easy life. (2) It seems that some people live in a fantasy world and are unaware of the realities of this world.

Dear ones who come from other countries, how can you so easily label a creation of such purity?

A bit of humility, a bit of gratitude toward the creators of Auroville is deserved (3) Spiritual life has never been easy, and in today’s world, it is harder than ever.

https://x.com/AnitaKamali_AV/status/1910594352033784276?t=-S6dDs59v2ulp8uzHE3xqQ&s=19

I do. A person can have disagreements with another person, yet she can revere him for the right reasons. He was the first to speak about nationalism and inspired the likes of savarkar and aurobindo. He was a journalist who ferociously spoke against the tyrrany for bureaucracy. And got jailed for that very reason. He chose jail at the cost of his health when he was given the option of release in return for quitting the work he was doing. He denied doing so.

One of my choicest works—“ *Moving Towards a South ASIAN Confederation*” (2009–10)—was shaped under the guidance of Prof. Kittu Reddy (Kittu-da), a respected scholar and sadhak of Sri Aurobindo Ashram, and nephew of former President Neelam Sanjiv Reddy. His wisdom left a lasting imprint.
