Heehsians appear to worship the profane and seek to spread chaos

"It is websites such as "" and the "" that have denigrated Sri Aurobindo and his Ashram "
What a cruel joke! The Heehsian mouthpieces sciy and IYF have tried to defame and lynch people in the public square giving them no chance to defend themselves and you have the gall to point your finger at websites that have only tried to defend those people?! What's more - your buddy Rich Carlson (even you seem too mild and stable to be him!) had been targeting Indians and the Mother well before Heehs became the polarizing and divisive force that he is now. By associating yourselves with him and his websites, you have added more fuel to the fire.

"The IYF site, on the contrary has respected and supported the "immediate disciples" that sincerely and devotedly practice their Sadhana at the Ashram."
That is a bogus claim and fits the lies that that site propagates! That site has only demonized people using questionable facts and faulty reasoning. More relevantly, Sri Aurobindo's disciples dont need anyone's approval or blessing least of all those of Guru Heehs and his band of self-appointed "intellectuals".

"If at all the IYF site has denigrated some people, it is those people who make up the scum ...."
It is Heehs and some of his followers that are the scum. They are today's equivalent of the hippies who brought nothing but infamy and disturbance to eastern spirituality and made it into a laughing stock. Like their illustrious predecessors, the Heehsians too appear to worship the profane and seek to spread chaos (all in the name of freedom of expression). It is they who are the impediments to Sri Aurobindo's work and will be tossed out. To avoid it, you might want to advice Heehs to start looking around for a site to build his own "ashram" where all of you can formulate and follow your own rules, sing and dance around, and write all the books you want to under the guidance of Kripal and Murphy. You, Sir, should not be fooling yourself any longer about the consequences of your actions! Posted by Anonymous to Savitri Era Open Forum at 11:21 AM, October 26, 2010

This is the problem - you have this civilizational impulse to pull down someone that inspires you to your own levels to feel good about yourselves. Sri Aurobindo went through a lot of human suffering as he has himself mentioned but dont equate him with yourself or me just to please or inspire our plump egos. What Heehs has done is to make stupid misinterpretations and distortions to assure us that Sri Aurobindo was someone we could have enjoyed having a beer or a coffee with to discuss philosophy!!! And then gone home to tell our wives about this great guy we had just met! If this is what you find inspiring, you might as well get your heroes from Sidney Sheldon. Posted by Anonymous to Savitri Era Open Forum at 11:46 AM, October 26, 2010

Govind has left a new comment on your post "Heehs hyperboles":
Are you seriously claiming that there is no criticism of Sri Aurobindo in the book? In it you will find criticism of Sri Aurobindo as a politician, as a philosopher, as a poet, as a husband, as a yogi etc. etc. etc. It seems you have not read the book and you have not read my comment either or you might not have added the bit about the praise for I have already stated that the fierce supporters of the book, "apologize for it by holding up the fig leaf of the praise that goes along with the criticism" which describes exactly what you have done here.
