Francoise De Nielly's informative and scholarly message

Dear Mr. Mohapatra,
The gossip-mongering that Mr. Sunil SR and his comrades are encouraging on your blog site is certainly lowering the quality of the discourse on a blog site that is based on none else than Sri Aurobindo's poem, the Savitri. I had prompted Sunil to do his homework before continuing his tirade of insults and slandering against respectable people such as Dr. Nirodbaran and Mr. Amal Kiran, which is certainly regrettable especially as they are based on lies and petty gossip. But as Mr. Sunil appears to be incapable of or not interested in any serious research before opening his big mouth, I therefore please request you to reproduce Ms. Francoise De Nielly's informative and scholarly message that was posted in your blog on 8th April 2010, reproduced below, which I hope will present the issues in a more decent and educated perspective. Thanking you. Regards, S.

  1. Your allegations are based on whose definition?
Are you this loyal when Sri Aurobindo is belittled? You can't hide behind good intellectual mumbo jumbo. I recommend you get a a wash of your soul to understand what I am saying.

  2. Mr Sunil, while your candidness is appreciated, I think it's time to stop. The focus should remain on Heehs and his book. All else is distracting. Your discussion should be carried on in smaller local groups that can address the issue without attracting the kind of banality and attacks that your posts have.

  3. To Mr. Sunil SR:

If that is all that you can come up with, it is no surprise that you despise "intellectual mumbo jumbo" and prefer rumors and cheap gossip.

If you do not want to respect some of the senior-most disciples of Sri Aurobindo and you wish to throw mud on them because of some of your personal reasons, you may henceforth consider doing so at least based on some grounds of Truth and Reason and not based on the first rumour that you hear on the streets or from your comrades.

    Regards,
    S.

  4. Thanks. yes you are right. They asked me my opinion and I had fallen for it without realising they don't have the stomach to digest. I wondered why amything I say S and AAD call it lies, I get it now, they see what they are only and hide behind good looks and reason without making one iota of effort to find out the truth. This line'His enemies are the being he came to save' what have you done with it in your new edition.
